My name is Krystyna Nowak, and I am from Poland. Painting is my great passion and a huge joy, which I have been enjoying for almost 12 years. At the beginning of my watercolour journey, the major role in discovering the secrets of this difficult medium, played the worhshops in Austria. I still improve my skills, by participating in numerous, online and in person courses, conducted by famous foreign and Polish artists, and since 2023 also at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice on Weekend Academy. I belong to several groups of non professional artists in Poland and Austria, so I have the opportunity to constant exchange with other painting enthusiasts. Now, I am very happy to be a part of Unissons Les Arts Community in France! In addition to individual exhibitions (3 individual exhibitions in 2023), my works have been and are currently presented at many collective exhibitions. I regularly take part in plein-air painting events in Poland and abroad and in numerous competitions and art presentations nationwide and abroad. My paintings have been many times awarded, which makes me very happy and gives me a lot of motivation. I especially appreciate the fact, that my watercolor was selected on the "short list" of 36 works in the international competition for 2023 Hahnemühle Calendar. My work was selected from 1,066 works , by 500 artists from around the world. My works are in the collections of Polish and foreign art lovers.
